My Uncle Mike did go in for surgery on the 21st of November, to have his lung removed. The doctor ended up not removing the lung, saying the my uncle’s heart would not have been able to handle the surgery. Â The good news is that the cancer has not spread at all, just in that one spot in his lung. They will begin a course of chemo and radiation soon.
