Congratulations on the home. Our kids grow overnight too. My youngest, who just turned 4 ::tear::, went from being in the 10th percentile in height at her 3 year check to the 50th. She went from just about 24mos sized clothes at the beginning of summer being very petite to a solid 3T depending on how big/small the clothes run. Don’t get me started on shoes, my boys are easy with shoes they like the simple black and white converse shoes you can get at Target and while they aren’t super cheap they wear them till the soles fall off of them. My daughter has flat feet and leg problems so we have to have her shoes fitted and inserts put in. High maintenance 🙂
I agree 100% with you mentioning kids clothes being smaller versions of adult clothing and being uncomfortable with that. I refuse to have my 4 year old daughter dressing like a teenager, or a grown woman. She’s a child and as a child has a right to be a child and not be exposed to over-sexualized garbage.
We live just outside of Charleston, SC. It’s a beautiful area, the weather has been a bit strange the last few weeks but it’s such a wonderful area to spend the fall and winter.
