A few random pictures (fixed)

I don’t post pictures often, mainly because I am lazy, but partly because I didn’t care to take the time to learn how to post them. I guess that is lazy too. So here are a few pictures from the past few weeks…starting first with the Advent Wreath….

Instead of an true wreath this year, I decided to put some Evergreen branches on the mantle. It turned out pretty nice, except when we had the fireplace on...the branches above it turned brown. If you look closely, you can see the ornaments for our Jesse Tree.

  1. Love the Advent candles. I should take a picture of our Advent “wreath” soon. My real wreath has been lost in storage for a few years now, so every year at the last minute I grab whatever purple and pink candles I can find. Sigh. It works!

    • Each year, I have such a hard time finding the right colored candles. It is very odd. It is as though each store takes purple and pink (excuse me, rose) out of stock from November to January!
